What I love about reading is that it allows you to step into the shoes of another person and to see things through their eyes. I have often found that the world can feel lonely, especially when we only see things through our own eyes. So, the beauty of reading is discovering that we are not alone and that others think, feel, and experience the world in similar ways to ourselves.

What I love about writing is that it allows you to express your emotions and to process internal dialogues. I first started writing as a child and enjoyed writing fictional stories using my imagination, and as I grew into a teenager my writing developed into journaling, poetry, and short stories. As an adult my joy for writing remains and is something I would like to explore further through this blog!
